| Louis Dupont has made several short films and documentaries among them: Bouche à Bouche (aka Mouth to Mouth) with Ginette Garcin, Official Selection Clermont Ferrand Film Festival 2007 and broadcasted on Arte. He has been a laureate of the "Fondation de France". He won a prize for best script writer in La Ciotat Festival and a prize of the "avant garde" from the ACRAP (Association of Film Makers, Photographs and Audiovisual Artists.)
His main work has been aesthetic and experimental for a number of years. His films have been seen in numerous film festivals all over the world and distributed mainly in France and Germany.
Last year his first documentary "Boys from the Swimming Pool" has been widely acclaimed and distributed in France.
He is just finishing a new amazing documentary that Rendez-vous Pictures is proud to distribute called: "Lido Boys".

The prestigious French Cabaret on the Champs Elysées, the Lido opened its doors to Louis Dupont to follow the life of the "Lido Boys" from auditions to stage. Everybody has dreamt in front of the most fabulous "Bluebell Girls" but the world of the "Lido Boys" has never been explored before!
For the first time ever, Pierre Rambert, the Artistic Director of the Lido and creator of the famous review "Bonheur" has accepted that a filmmaker could share the intimacy and glamorous life of the Boys. This documentary will certainly trigger the imagination of many women and men in the world and might ignite new careers as "Billy Eliot" did in the past!
