Official Selection:  Moscow IFF, Montreal World Film Festival, Hoff, Max Ophüls...

"An excellent film with amazing although difficult performances for the talented actors."

"The story explores the devastating psychological impact of familly secrets on one’s life.  Well-balanced between a psychological thriller and an emotional drama." T.P

Cast: Florent Frin, Marie Le Cam, Jean-Marc Le Bars...

Synopsis:

Kevin is a peculiar young man whose behavior can sometimes be dangerous. He shares an isolated farmhouse with his brother Jean-Claude in rural solitude. Both men cohabit in a disconcerting silence.

When Michèle meets Jean-Claude, she considers him to be just a casual lover. But the moment Kevin appears, she believes that he can become her mission in life...

“We had no plans to shoot a feature film.  We were into making a shorter film. But the chemistry during the shooting was so good, that I started writing a longer script. The story is about a life that could end in disaster.”

The film is about people who need to love and be loved and who fight solitude, confessed the director.

“I wasn’t afraid of my actors. They helped me a lot. I shared feelings and emotions with them. I let them improvise, and I am so pleased with the result.

Everybody gave the best of themselves and, at the end of the day, we all made a film that we love and that audiences can relate to all over the world.”
